As I read up on installing a DRL module (and thinking that I'm not sure I want to tackle it) it suddenly occured to me - couldn't you just wire the headlights so that the low beams come on when you turn the vehicle on??

I'm guessing there must be a reason why not, otherwise it would be suggested...

As the general consensus appears to be that I do not know what I'm talking about, and cause more harm than good, I am removing this post so that others are not tricked in to following my ill-advised instructions.
