Hey there!

Let me introduce myself; My name is Eric and I'm from Gatineau, Quebec. I've been visiting this site for a little more than a year now and finaly decided to register today.

I'm 29 and starting truck driving school in April which will allow me to get that HS diploma I never had time to get. I've worked extensively in customer service for 12 years for numerous companies in Ontario until I decided to stop doing that and decided to do something I'll actually enjoy.

I've been following the " Delica Movement " for quite some time and my sights are settled on a Delica. There's nothing like it. Was just about to contact a few dealerships but the ban got into effect and kinda got me off to the idea. But I've joined the fight and waiting to see what will happen. If the Province does ban them officially; I'll move in Ont. No doubt about that.

To my knowledge; I think there's only one L300 in my region. ( anyone wants to give me a " joy ride " ??? :-D ) Always saw it on the road, never had chance to check it in person.

So, feel free to ask me questions. I'm mostly the kind of person that will hang around on the boards, might not post a lot but recording all the info I can. ( stay away from K.King from what I read.... :o )

Salut et Bienvenue!

I wish you guys the best of luck with that stupid decision Quebec took on the RHD. I have a friend who's vehicle was in transit while they passed the new law so he hasn't been able to register/insure his truck.

I guess if you've joined the fight then you've already filled those:

Anyway, best of luck with this issue and enjoy your new career! And there's more than one registered Delica in Quebec but not enough...

A bientot!
David

Welcome from an Montrealer living in Calgary. Good luck with your schooling, and the fight for RHDs. It certainly affects my desire to move back to Quebec, since I won't give up my Delica!
