Re: Map light
You should ask Mararmeisto what LED's he bought for his van. He's using red LED festoons for his map and dome lights. Very bright!

Re: CCA/RMI Customer Appreciation Day
It was indeed a good day! Fine weather, cool vehicles and pleasant company!
...By the way, Does anyone need a (18-20) XL RMI/ CCA T-shirt? I accidentally grabbed an XL intended for a smaller person, so no shiny t shirt for me!![Sad :-(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: Bushbar rust and repainting
Like most people, I just pulled my bush bars/ rad guards/ bumper/ steps off. Then, using a wire wheel, I stripped the paint off and scoured off some of the rust (I needed to keep some corrosion for the next step) I then liberally applied Plasti-Kote's "Rust Not" rust converter. It comes in...

Gull wing doors?
You know, you can't have one without the other!

Getting up to 88MPH is a bit of a challenge though! Well, maybe not for the silver bullet!

Re: Someting Konadog said got my mind 'a turnin'
Sad thing is that the split windows' wipers never sat like you said... they were just like a regular car, except they had one speed and were a mere 12" long. I wonder where my old split is now??? :-D I was thinking that having the wipers straight up and down in the middle would give our vans a...

Someting Konadog said got my mind 'a turnin'
Konadog said: "- L-300's are like pre '68 split windscreen VW buses... " Which got me to thinking, "Hmm, wipers that sit vertical in the center of the windscreen in the off position, and wipe downwards." It would look a bit like a split window deal. Unfortunately, altering the wi...

Re: head rests?
Hi Flyaway, I'm pretty sure the distance between the headrest 'pegs' is standard for all vehicles, you could always go to a scrap yard and find a different set with longer pegs. ...Or, if you have an in-dash DVD player, you could get a set of headrests off of Ebay that have screens built into the ba...

Re: EGR
Here you go mate, http://www.delica.ca/forum/egr-removal-kit-5621.html Since removing the EGR valve, I've noticed the Landmaster runs cooler (Hm maybe because I'm not redirecting exhaust gas into the engine anymore!) It took Mararmeisto and myself about twenty minutes to remove the kit, so if two sa...

Comox isn't that far from Coombs, I would talk to Glen of CC Autos fame.
