Legs and bars for high roof L300

I have a set of four extra long legs and two bars. The legs have locks from a Thule system installed and they are all matched to one key (have spare key as well). There is a bit of peeling of the powder coating on the legs and the bars are pretty beat up from use, so they lack a bit in aesthetics, b...

Re: Delica Repairs in Nova Scotia

I lived in Kentville and surrounding communities for 18 years. I know exactly what you mean regarding the "Is that thing even legal?", or "Those aren't even legal here ya know." comments. Used to be a guy living up by Hell's Gate Dam in Gaspereau Valley that had a RHD Landcruiser...

Had an oopsie.

I had a wee little mishap with my wife's Delica. I'm getting cold in my kidneys from sleeping on the porch and really need to make this "right". I've got to find a replacement ladder for the rear...it's the one that's slightly crooked and made from stainless steel. I also need the plastic ...

Re: stretch delica?

Kev, you've got the rights...just buy me a cold case of Keith's when ya come back to BC to visit/live. ;) Kev and Loki...both great ideas on getting the cabins to and from...but I was REALLY hoping to find a Canter/crane to do the job. ;) I'm sure the Canter would be too light to do the job, but my ...

Re: stretch delica?

I was "mentally enhanced" at the time of this stumble. Searching for ideas on how to convert shipping containers into cabins. Here's an idea for someone out there with more ambition than I. Use 40' shipping containers converted into cabins to place on pads on water's edge at a resort that ...

the link to check your ride didnt work Taynton. If you were up there often it was most likely you then for sure. We actually saw you a couple more times last snow season. Wife and I go to the Nordic Ski Club by McCulloch Lake often and would usually see you on your way up the hill when we were comin...

they are rated for an enormous amount of strength to compress...for the weight of the doors and taking leverage into play they are likely well over 100 pound shocks...if you do not compress them with the accuracy and balance of a mechanical compression...such as by way of a hinge and solid mounting ...

Re: Meet Ellie...Ellie...meet the extended family.

Photo taken at 120 km/hr with the cliffs along the Coq. as a backdrop. It was getting close to dusk and we had just broken out of some rather hairy weather between Abby and Hope, petering out just shy of the snowshed. When we got past the booths, the sun was bright and the golden hue had begun...it ...

this summer...most driving done on relative flats...as a commuter...my wife is averaging around 29mpg....when we head to Van. or anywhere else out of the valley bottom, we drop to about 24mpg...and in the worst conditions we have found, we rode out at about 20 to 22 mpg... Re: a delica long wheel base?

the "dip" in the front side windows (door window) was what made me think Deli. Wasn't there a Nissan Bongo that was very much like a Deli.? As I recall from another pic (red van with Mattracks) the Nissan was even made by MMC but badged under Nissan...this is all from my very cloudy...bare...

a delica long wheel base?

a skit/practical joke starring a snake in a suitcase. It looks to my untrained eye to be a delica long wheel base perhaps. But I am open to be educated if I'm wrong.

Re: goodyear warngler mt/s 31/10.5/15...5 for $600 /should i?

I've run through three sets of wrangler MT's with two sets being the MT/R...always loved them...wore great for me and 98% of my driving was on pavement...awesome offroad... Personally I would highly recommend these tires for anyone wanting to do a lot of off pavement. I have run plenty of BFG (thats...
