A little stumped. How deos one remove the rear brake drums? I see the small bolt holes and have tries metric and standard bolts to press/push it off. No bolt seems to fit......WTF ? Any advise?

My tach is intermittent on my L300. There is no rhyme or reason, sometimes it works when the beast is fired up or not. I can be booking it down road for a period of time and then it will just magically begin to work or just fluctuate for a bit, then not work at all, then begin to work without any fu...

I will definately bench test each glow plug. Can anyone tell me what the "IDIOT LIGHT" is to the right of the glow plug light on dash is? It is yellow and looks like it has something to do with water temp? Thanks.

I turn over the engine once the GLOW PLUG RELAY MAKES A SECOND CLICKING SOUND that I interpret is turning off. I do not hold the accelerator down and it will puff small amounts of white smoke when turning over...........and when starting (if in warm shop).

My 97 L300 4D56 will not cold start. The glow plug rail and each glow plug test ok (11V). The glow plug relay clicks on and the glow plug dash light illuminates, and so does the ? water temp light also illuminates. The glow plug light turns off and then 10-15 sec later the glow plug relay turns off....

All fixed. Chased electrical from injector pump to instrument cluster. As soon as we unplugged connector and reconnected it to the instrument cluster, the tachometer worked. Thank you Mr. FIBBLE.

I have a 97 L300 fresh off the boat. My tachometer was working fine, but after the Alberta out of province was completed (how ironic :-D ) the tachometer does not work. I have no idea if there is a direct correlation between the OOP and tachometer not working, but the're were daytime running lights ...
