I did suggest that you may have a bad relay which would explain why it seems to have a mind of its own and clicks off at random. The fact you bypassed the glow plug control unit would lead me to check the relays as they should not be able to shutoff until the bypass power switch/button you installe...

another question. If i do this manual button thing on my pajero, will it be okay with the 6.2V glow plugs? Or will i just simply toast these plugs? And i hold the button for 1 second, release then attempt to crank it oveR?

yeah im looking for the step by step procedure on how to wire that manual button. And my original glow plugs are 6.2Volts so yeah they are the 6 Volt glow plugs.
