Re: i WHEELY need help!

Good point about the warranty. I am a carpenter so my vehicle goes on many construction sites, and I do lose a lot of tires. I have a set of almost new 235/75R15 tires. will these fit a stock Delica wheel, or do I need new rims for this? Also, will these fit a stock delica or do I need to lift it to...

Re: delica 2.2 diesel

apparently it is an extremely tough and robust gear driven motor.
i don't know how powerful it is though - some of the earlier R2's were pretty gutless

anyways, another option if someone wanted to do a motor swap.

Re: delica 2.2 diesel

ok, so that last picture was inside a 2002 Delica.. here is a pic of one from a Mazda - i'd say that would be a confirmation. The Later Mitsubishi's came with Mazda R2 diesel engine... interesting. http://basic-engines.co.za/assets/images/R2_2.2_DIESEL__WHITE_TOP_.jpg i wonder if any of the later, m...

Re: delica 2.2 diesel

if you ever check out any Japanese auctions, you will see that from 99 on the L300 trucks came with a 2.2 L diesel instead of the 2.5. the code is usually SK22, with a TM or LM at the end (SK22LM or SK22TM)... I see some places it is referred to as R2 engine.. i believe that is a mazda, if I am not ...

Re: i WHEELY need help!

i do ONLY use my 4wd in very slippery conditions. My delica came equipped with a LSD on the rear axle, and it seems pretty capable of handling just about everything i throw at it, so the amount of time i put it in 4x4 is extremely minimal.

Re: delica 2.2 diesel

so the sk22 motor that came in the delica truck/van in the late 90's/ and into the 2000's is the motor i'm asking about. i can't seem to find anything about this motor! can't even find if it's turboed or how much horsepower it had. This is not the Brand New 4N14 2.2 l...

i WHEELY need help!

Get it, the title was a pun.. Tee hee hee. Actually, I don't have a wheel problem, but rather a tire problem. My l300 delica has a nice set of Nexen Roadian HT tires on it. Unfortunately, I wrecked one tire, but the other three are like new. I can't find a replacement tire anywhere!! It is unadvised...

delica 2.2 diesel

so... the L300 continued on production for many years as a truck only. In 2000 it came with a 2.2 l diesel. Does anyone have any info on this engine? What it was called, or some stats... just idle curiosity really, but if it was a cool motor might make an interesting swap someday (know it would fit ...

can i remove the tumblers out of the ignition easily enough? and if i do, will it still work? I was hoping to get it going so i could drive it into the city to get a locksmith to rekey it... kinda expensive if he has to come all the way out to my place. :( any other ideas? i don't feel too good abou...
