Butch quoted 1200 to replace the seal, instead Mardy at Amazing Auto did it today for 470, also changing all the other seals as well!
Basically, Mardy rules.

Yes its a high roof. The previous owner had it on and it weighed down the gate so that you needed to prop it up with a stick. It had to go.

Took this Terzo ladder off my L300 because it was weighing the gate down just a bit too much, but I hear it works perfectly for an L300. Here's the link to the CL post. Will consider a trade. Its a bit water-stained but works well.

I'm thinking of driving down to Utah for a bit of Moab action this summer, does anyone have any suggestions of pre-emptive preparations I can do for my L300? Something tells me it gets a bit hot down there.

Im game, but yes quite inexperienced mechanically, so I dont think I would hazard doing it alone.

Since its a simple job, perhaps theres someone in lower mainland BC that would do it for less? Any suggestions welcome.
