Roof rack
I am using the Yakima A1 gutter mount towers with the hi rise spacer on my high roof L300. I found the racks on craigslist then added the spacer kit later. If you have a low roof you might be okay without the spacers https://www.rei.com/product/490007/yakima-1a-hi-rise-tower-set I have the ARB 2500 ...

Window Visors
Hi... I'm trying to source some new window visors - monsoon visors? for a 1990 L300 high roof. I tried searching on line, asked Amazing and Rocky Mountain with no luck. Does anyone know of a supplier?

Hey Nick. I will give you $40 for the double din stereo if we can think of anyway to get it to Victoria? Best to send me a reply to my gmail account -aquamandavis@gmail.com

Collector Plates
Hey...has anyone put collector plates on their deli yet? My bus turns 25 this year so in theory should be able to qualify.
Not really considering it for my deli. Was just curious.

Victoria Mechanic
Hi... just had Parkside Motors on Ellice Street in Victoria replace my timing belts, water pump, front cam and crank seals, fan/AC belts, upper/lower rad hoses, thermostat, etc... I'm happy with the results. The work was done on time and the staff was great to deal with. It wasn't cheap but I feel I...

Ditto. On Eric's recommendation I had my entire front rebuilt there. New tie rod ends, all bushing, all ball joints, new shocks, front brakes and a four wheel alignment. All at a reasonable cost. I'm very happy with the results. It drives like a new truck.

Anyone have a stock radio for an L300?
Hi. I'm looking for a stock radio for a 1990 L300. Mine has finaly packed it in. To be honest, I don't really want to pay much, or anything for it. If someone has one kicking around I will gladly keep it out of the landfill for you. Failing that I will bite the bullet and buy a new double din unit. ...

That's a pretty sketchy part of town to leave your vehicle overnight. There's lot's of white ones around. It wasn't electric jester's (sean's) van was it?

Hey Sean... I haven't seen your set-up. I've been thinking of setting something up in my van. May be a good excuse to meet for a pint?

Re: Snow!!
Me too! I drove in from Saanichton last night. My first time driving it in the snow. Cars in the ditches everywhere and the deli just soldiered through. I passed a few delis on the Pat Bay and then again on Blanshard Street around 10:30. You perhaps?

Re: Thanksgiving Deli Camp anyone??
Sounds interesting... Count me and the Zigdog as a maybe. I've been invited on a motorbike trip down to California that week but it will involve the expense of extending the insurance on my bike, new back tire, kennelling the dog.... still waffling. CR area sounds great. In the event of bad weather ...
