Re: Anyone know starter wiring 1988 USA gas automatic
Very kind of you. I actually found Vol 1 and 2 a couple days ago after not getting anything here and realizing I'd better get factory service manuals or constantly be bugging you folks. Should get here early next week and as you know that means I'll have the full electrical manual. I'm excited I fo...

Is there a pdf wiring diagram available online?
Hi guys.
I'm having electrical issues with my 1989 van wagon, likely due to an old alarm system that was installed. Is there a diagram available here on the forum?
Thanks,
Pk

Re: Looking for a Throttle Control Cable for my 1989 Vanwagon
Thanks for the input guys. It turns out the part is discontinued so I've struck out at 2 different Mitsubishi parts distributors. Does anybody have an extra used one they'd be willing to sell? Or could even send me a picture of the two connecting sides of the cable so that I could have one fabricate...

Looking for a Throttle Control Cable for my 1989 Vanwagon
Hi gang, I'm still trying to get my '89 Vanwagon running again. The transmission has a cable running into it that has a frayed housing that prevents it from operating properly. My mechanic says it's called the "throttle control cable" which is different from a regular throttle cable. Does ...

Please help me source a Kickdown Cable for my Vanwagon
Hi guys,
I'm fixing up a 1989 Vanwagon, automatic gas 2wd (wish it was turbo diesel 4wd). The kickdown cable is seized and I need a replacement. Does anybody have one they want to sell or know where I can find one? Even a part number would be super helpful.
Thanks!
Earthlin

Re: Greetings from the USA and looking for a New Motor
Thanks guys, I'm looking into gas motors and just trying to decide now between a working used motor and a fully rebuilt one. What's the average lifespan on the gas engines?
Cheers,

Greetings from the USA and looking for a New Motor
Hey gang! My friend just gave me a 1989 Mitsubishi Star Wagon which I believe is another name for the legendary Delica. It has a gas 2.4L LS motor that needs to be replaced, but the body is so clean it's worth it. Can you guys direct me towards a good place to get a rebuilt engine that will fit? Are...
