L300 Automatic and Manual = same engine?
Maybe a foolish question but is there any reason swapping an engine from a manual transmission l300 into an automatic would be problematic? Or would work great?

Gas in Diesel. Endgame.
Just had it towed to a safe zone, I haven't brought myself to give up in it just yet. Is it certainly a damaged piston? Any other theoritical cause for zero compression post gas in diesel?

Gas in Diesel. Endgame.
Shop did a compression test as one cylinder isn't firing, has zero pressure. The verdict is it needs a new engine. The entire interior has been camperised, redone w/wood has a custom miniature woodstove. Any thoughts on selling as is? Would hate to see her off the road but I don't have the time/know...

Gas in Diesel. Endgame.
I nuked my deli. Still reeling, I fueled up leaving Victoria, drove to Duncan, totally normal. Stopped overnight, started again to a disaster of shaking and clanking. After a block went back to my buddies, CAA towed it to Marigold in Victoria... gas in a diesel. Trying to figure out if I should pay ...

Re: Rad Needed L300 Automatic
Excellent, thanks folks. I've made an attempt at finding used parts from wreckers but suprise, suprise, no luck. Some local folks tipped us off that a place in castlegar repairs broken radiators. Has anyone had luck with fixing em? It seems I'm going to have to bite the bullet and order it, but I'm ...

Rad Needed L300 Automatic
Blew the top plastic bit and cap off my rad this morning. 1km from the trail head, only had this beauty a few weeks and uh, learning the ropes... Anyways, now we are stuck in the Kootenays. (Slocan City right now) Planning to fix her in the bush when we find the part, but are stuck on what exactly w...
