THE delica is way more reliable than my porsche, so far at least.
Sounds like the next owner of yours will be getting a good vehicle seeing that you have done all the leg work.

Re: Tire Chains... got some?
Hi Falco Do you have any problems with the front chains hitting the wheel well.. or do the adjusters take up all the slack.. I have a set of cable chains and no matter how tightly they are cinched they still seem to slap the wheel well. only after adding about 9 bunjie cords did this go away. your t...

Re: water cooled turbo ????
Watercooling the turbo will not cool the charge air, only the turbo bearings seals and engine compartment... but not much on the later. Watercooled turbos are much lower fire risk than oil cooled/non cooled ones and stock delicas run and the turbos tend to last longer. Preformance differences will b...

Re: Centrifuge Works well
Are you doing any oil samples?? or any testing of the oil? Centrifuging the oil only cleans it and does not replace the additives that are burnt off during combustion. just clean oil is not enough to protect your engine. You need to keep and eye on your total base number.. TBN TBN Testing is particu...

Re: An URGENT CALL FOR HELP! Stuck in LA!
use an additive too, but also blend WVO with the diesel and am curious if this adds enough sulphur-like lubricant that I can forgo the commercial chemical additives? Thoughts... B25 or 25% BIO is just fine for the lubricity issue.. i have a paper from John deere regarding thier old fuel pumps (stan...

Re: intermittent idle
Hi After oil On #1 water and coolant will hold the same amount of BTUs just the coolant raises the boiling point so #1 is out in my books. #2 seems to make the most sence.. if i had a viscosity meter we could check the WVO at 75C and compare to #2 diesel but the mere is on the ship and its on the wa...

Re: intermittent idle
If you have constant pressure (7+) psi at the ip inlet
then.. sounds like the viscosity of the fuel in your IP is to thick and is starving to fill the plungers.
can you heat the WVO any higher?
heavy fuel engines have the same symptoms when running bunker c and not hot enough.
