Has anyone removed their camshaft on a 4m40? I'm looking to see if I have a bent lifter shim just wondering if there are any tips or tricks involved. Looks pretty straight forward though. Any help or comments are appreciated. Thanks

Anyone here ever use Red Line DT4 ATF in their L400 Automatics? It says that you can use it for Diamond SP-III vehicles.

Hi guys, thought I should update you on what's going on. I went over to my brothers to give him a hand and we found the problem pretty quick. A disconnected wire at the battery was the problem. One of the connectors was pretty hidden, in my brothers defense, but as soon as we connected it she starte...

Still no luck. My brother's thinking that maybe it's either the fusible link or the starter solenoid. I may go over there tomorrow to give him a hand.

Anyone know which wires he can jump across the fusible link to test if that's the problem? He says none of the wires look burnt but I'm not sure what's under the black cover if it's actual fuses or what? Thanks for all the help guys we'll keep posting as info becomes available. Haven't spoken with my brother yet today. I kind of don't think it would be the fuel cut-off solenoid. Wouldn't it at least turn over if there wasn't 12V at that solenoid?

Glow plugs and bus bar done this past summer. Wasn't very cold but really really wet. Wonder if some electrical components got wet.
