Re: First Delica Camper Build with a slide out?

the rear door fills up with water if left in the up position during substantial rain fall or over a long period of time. You would want to design a rain fly for the hatch back. I had mine up while camping and it filled up enough to over power the struts due to wieght and the door came down, was tota...

Re: Guidlines for fitting a Locker or LSD

kind of a misleading post, its clear that your delica is eating the bikes and carrying a few extra for a snack later.

Re: rear reflective strip

most sign shops can cut you anything you want, reflective or not. I do this as a side bussiness. The thing that will cost a bit is the computer time designing what you want. once thats done its easy.

Re: should the batteries be coupled?

I went to a single starting battery and an isolated rv batt, starts good on the single batt, I just made sure it had some high cranking amps. an rv battis nice to have too, can safley run the sterio with no worries about starting.

Re: Courtenay Lube-X refusal today

my neighbor is the manager of the lube x, really nice guy. He told me they only work on stuff that they have info on in thier computer. Even though many of our cars are the same as some north american varriant they still won't do it. Not unless the computer states, 92 delica 2.5l diesel, 6l. oil 15w...

Re: Courtenay Lube-X refusal today

the reason they won't do your oil change is because thier computer does not tell them how much oil to put in your engine. If they don't have a published oil capacity they don't want to accept liability for damages, they are only covered for vehicles that come up on thier computer.
