MUT2 Scanner in the Vancouver area?
I managed to clear an airbag code without a MUTII on my 2000! See this info from my previous post: Posting for information. I triggered an SRS light messing around with the electrical system. Today I was able to connect to the SRS module and clear the code. My van is a 2000 Series II, Diesel. Wasn't...

I'd say it depends on how much you paid for it - would be an expensive shuttle rig if you can't make it road legal. You could easily get a few grand parting it out, especially if you can wait to sell some of the big items.

Cleared SRS Airbag Code
Posting for information. I triggered an SRS light messing around with the electrical system. Today I was able to connect to the SRS module and clear the code. My van is a 2000 Series II, Diesel. Wasn't able to connect to the OBD module, maybe a MUTII is still required for that. The scantool is an Au...

Boost guage install help
Here's how I did mine - near the back of the intake manifold, there's an orange bit threaded in which acts as a "filter". From there, a rubber hose goes to the overpressure sensor. If you're facing the car, the overpressure sensor is bolted to the top left corner of the intercooler, you pr...

L400 Series 2 Dash Speaker Question
You may already be in the know, but a word of warning - the L400 speakers have weird wiring. The dash speakers are 12 ohm, and the door speakers are 6 ohm. Wired in parallel to create a 4 ohm setup. If you replace them with 4 ohm speakers, your setup will be 2 ohms and likely to ruin your head unit ...

Buzzing under the hood
I have the same noise. I think it has to do with the glow plug circuit - I wired a light and switch to mine so I can see and control when it is on. The buzzing is only when the glow plugs run in my car. If you put a multimeter to the glow plug contactor bar or relay you should be able to verify this.

Differences between S1 and S2 4M40
I've got a S2 and I've been doing a little research on it. From what I see, injection pump rebuilds are more difficult and expensive on the S2. So far I haven't had any luck reading CEL/DTC data. I've tried a few expensive scan tools (snapon, etc). Apparently the "Evoscan" cable may work, ...

SRS Light on after stereo/DRL install
No luck so far. Had a shop try with a couple different tools and techniques.
I'm going to buy an Evoscan cable and see what I can find - it's not explicitly designed for Delicas but some people apparently make it work. I'll shoot you a PM once I get it, you can try it out if you'd like.

SRS Light on after stereo/DRL install
I removed panels from the dash to clean up wiring from the Japanese owner and add a radio/DRL module. Everything was working great, until the SRS light started coming on the day after. Is it possible I may have bumped a connector or reset the system by disconnecting the battery? What I've tried so f...
