So we've been over the moon happy with our delica, which we named Delilah, since we got her in the summer. No problems, excellent fuel consumption etc. It is due to go in for an oil change and servicing which I had intended on doing next week or so, however a week ago someting strange started happen...

ICBC called me with my replacement value. $3000 more than I paid for mine, less the $300 deductible! So now I have $9500 and no car. Anyone know of any delis for sale in that price range? That pole is ridiculous. I would head out there pronto, take a picture of the pole without the warning sign on it and start asking some hard questions at the Langley roads department. And their risk management person. At the very least they should cover the difference between what ICBC will pay you...

Thanks Steven. I will do that. I was told to go in with print outs of a lot of similar to mine vehicles for sale around here as well as any other records I have (which unfortunately because I've only had it a couple month and it was a private sale, isn't much).
