Re: WTB: 2.5 TD Pajero Flywheel & Starter
Just to back up some vendors, I've ordered from Mardy Delica and Maximum Overdrive (linked above) and both are stand up vendors. I'm just north of Calgary, and had items shipped from BC, with no problems, either time. Good folks, both!

Re: Pajero rear diff parts?
As long as it has the 3.0L. The 3.5 Montero has a larger diff, Doug... you should be able to use a diff up to about 95 (I think after this they stopped bringing in the 3.0L to North America).jfarsang wrote:Gen 2 Pajero is the same as 1991+ Montero V6 and SR/Sport models.

Re: Alcohol-water injection for Turbo diesels Good cheap HP/TQ
Wow, interesting thread, with lots of diverse opinions. I have two questions that I didn't see answered, though I might have overlooked them... 1. How does this system work in the cold? When the air going into the airbox is already -20*c, is water injection going to make any difference? Is it someth...

Re: Delicas with winches
Just another quick point on this subject, if you're worried about weight on the front end, synthetic rope cuts a lot of weight off the winch, and is a lot safer/easier to use at the same time. When my winch goes on the next Pajero, it will have 100 feet of amsteel blue on it - winding in wire rope (...

Re: Complete Delica Injection Pump rebuild from top to bottom
Would it be bad form to ask how much one would expect for a full IP overhaul? Are we talking a grand, or more, or less? Just thinking ahead... a buddy of mine had the pump done on his Landcruiser (60 series) and paid large for it...

Re: Pajero SWB model differences
SWB are five seaters... As pajerist said, the biggest single difference is the superselect transfer case. Essentially they added a center diff, with a viscous coupling unit, so you have ALL WHEEL DRIVE (suitable for any surface including dry pavement, with no binding) as well as the usual 4hi and lo...

Re: Show off your Pajero here
Doug, you are truly a gentleman... but the answer is "nice try". Mara, the swb's are not as common, but there are a few around. On the auction sites, I always saw about 2/3 LWBs to 1/3 SWBs... The SWB is funny, because its small like a tracker, but has a 9" rear diff, and massive runn...

Re: Show off your Pajero here
Wow! Pretty impressive! What is a bumper you have on your Pajero? Is it ARB? Thanks... the solid axle guys don't think it's that impressive - they are looking for flex, but I always give them the IFS salute over big obstacles, then make it anyway. :-D Bumper - it's an East Coast Bullbar - all alumi...
