Re: K&N Filter for 4M40
That's wierd. Auto parts plus had it on file, and had me one the next day. IIRC, Crappy Tire had it in their system as well. K&N E1012.

Re: Just seeking advice
kinda need it here in Manitoba when we get those stupid winter storms we get. I went in a different direction myself, and use 33x1050 tires. Lighter, and the dig down to find traction, with their higher contact pressure. They work better IMHO in all but the deepest mud or snow, where our smaller en...

Re: Just seeking advice
Widest tire without some serious cutting is a 1250, provided you have the proper offset. I *believe* my 91 had 4.5 inches of backspacing, on 15x8s. This is also provided you have flares... without flares they're gonna be wayyyy out there. As far as wider flares go, the Iceland guys have them, and th...

Re: looking for block heater for 2.8L
a 38mm "frost plug" should fit Everything I've researched says there is no solution for a frost plug heater. The Caterpillar loaders that used the 4M40 (imagine a Caterpillar product with "MITSU-diesel power" on the side! Yeah! Sorry...) used a frost plug heater, but the port th...

Re: K&N Filter for 4M40
The Paj uses the 2871 on the 4M40. Same unit as the 2.5. Can't speak for a Deli, but would assume its the same!

Re: Airdrie
So I see we have another Delica (Fairways) in Airdrie. Low roof Green on Grey simalar to mine. I live just around the corner from you. Cool! Two deli's in my neighbourhood! I have a blue/silver Pajero (LWB) and live just south of the fairways rig, in Sagewood. A few of my buddies have Paj's too, so...

Re: Pajero brake components
Don't forget to add a year on, ie 92 Montero is the same as 91 JDM Pajero. Also, if you have the 2.8, it is equivalent to the 3.5 V6 with the larger running gear, not the 3.0.

Oil catch can - anyone have pics of how they did it?
I'll be doing this to a Pajero, but the theory is the same. Just wondered if anyone who had put a catch can on their PCV line had pics of how they did it? I'd like to reduce the little slick that I find when cleaning up the intake track...

Re: Alcohol-water injection for Turbo diesels Good cheap HP/TQ
Great info, fellas. I am planning to do this on my 2.8 Paj next summer. I just did the washer mod to my actuator, and am hitting 12psi now, on WOT. Also had my injectors rebuilt. But when towing, I was going up 10 mile hill outside Golden, 73kmh (GPS), and my EGTs got to 1250... after turbo. Scary. ...

Deli spotted in Black Diamond
I was going up a hill today, coming back from a camping trip in the Paj, and passed a Deli going up the hill. Nice rig too! I honked and waved as I went by (double lane), but the reflection was such that I couldn't see inside...

Re: Rough starting... what more to check?
I just purchased a 1994 Pajero Exceed 2.8L Diesel, and after driving it home (1000km) to my rural home town, I've been having trouble starting it. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times before it will start, not just in -10 degrees, but also in +6 degree weather. The mechanic where I bought it said they a...

FS: Front bumper and sidesteps for a LWB genII Pajero
Front bumper is in very good condition. A little bit of a wear mark where someone had a front plate, but otherwise in great overall shape. Also has the filler panel on top of the bumper, in between the end caps. End caps are also complete and in good shape (black marks on one side, IIRC). Note, head...
