My apologies on the site downtime.

Disaster struck during a recent attempt forum software update (and of course this had to happen during an unusually busy time at work).

Hopefully all is well!

We just ran into a few difficulties during the server migration, and had a lengthy (12 hour) unplanned downtime.

Now we have twice the memory resources, and therefore I am hopeful that we're back in the clear.

Thank you everybody for your patience over the past day or so.

Hi Morgonzo - Your observation is right.

We have run up against server memory limits, which has caused the site to crash a few 2-3 times over the past three weeks or so.

I've contacted the hosting provider, and will be upgrading the account (which should resolve the issue).

Thanks guys for the feedback on the new DT. I was doing a manual "spam-purge" daily - that strategy worked, but was abit too time consuming for me. I've since reconfigured DT so that new ads require the poster to configure by e-mail AND must be pre-approved before they actually appear on D...

Sounds like they made you work hard for that beer! Good thing that the registration process is something you need to deal with once only...

Between 12:00AM (midnight) and approximately 12:00PM (noon) on September 30, Delica.ca will be unavailable, due to a scheduled server migration.
