I've read about people pulling the starter and a couple other components... maybe this must be done on the Delica's but i was able to squeeze in there with out removin...

More of a howl then a squeal

Well.... Just spent 45 minutes at CVI. (met Falco) and had Butch look at my truck. He assures me it's not the pulley. But of course the truck only makes the noise intermittently and would not do it there. So I'm at a total loss, if it's not the timing belts or tensioners and it's not the accessory b...

Ok well I'm waiting to hear back from CVI about their stock and I will swap the pulley this weekend if they have it. I will also inspect the key way in the crank. Hopefully all is well.

These are great trucks but they sure demanding for time and money!! Too bad the parts dont come a little cheaper

What you are referring to are the harmonic balancers that are spun by the crank shaft. I am asking about a is the accessory pully itself, apparently it is has a rubber bushing Here is a quote from the uk forum "The crankshaft pulley does tend to be referred to as the front pulley, the exact des...

More of a howl then a squeal

So for some time now my truck has made a strange kind of medium to high pitched howley/squeal..... Now this only happens (well I can only hear it) during deceleration normally from medium to high RPMs at lower speeds. Recently I have replaced my timing belt and balance belt. It has a newish water pu...

Wanted: set of Deli wheels (15" x 6")

Why don't you just by the standard black craggar wheels (wagon wheels) that everyone has (the ones with the blue and red pinstripe) they are only $85 or so each.... Probably almost the same as painting. And sell your other rims?

Lets play Find That Leak!

PS. You hear bubbling in the system because there are now air pockets in the coolant loop. I would recommend not driving this while you are loosing this much fluid because of the "hot spots" that will develop around the air pockets!!

Lets play Find That Leak!

I think that the leak is probably coming from or around the water pump. When was it last changed? Also if you want to check for oil contamination (visually only) drain the used motor oil into a glass container and leave it to sit and inspect it to see if you get a layer of water. Typically, enough w...

What did you do TO your Delica today?

Striped out the hole putting the bolt back in on the EGR plates. Awesome. Now what to do? I went and bought another bolt and it seems to be holding, but I am afraid to really put some torque on it. Someday something I do will be easy....hopefully. Craig if its on the induction manifold there should...
