Okay folks last week i attempted to reseal the front quarter panels but didnt succeed due to stubborn screws on the last bit. Part of this process meant removing the headlight, whilst i was removing mine i noticed a spare connector. Is this normal or wht am i missing? I cant seem to find a receptive...

I cant even undo the 5 screws holding the front panel in to seal the gap :-( next line is to seal the windscreen. In the meantime i have removed the bung from the footwell, any water can bloomin well drip out of there. plus some breeze from ambling along should help dry the carpet :-D until i pluck ...

Once the windows are removed, use some Silicone emulsion (Lordco : AC Delco Silicone Emulsion (P/N: 10953014) that will revive the rubber compound in the seals. It's like oil/vaseline and goes on with a little applicator. It dries in 5-15mins and a few coats will do it. I have one leaky rear window...

Open the rear door, its on your left had side near the floor through that little hatch! The bottle jack is in there 8-)

I like this idea! i suppose it could be adapted to permantly stay under the roof rack and slide out and swivel down just like a loft ladder!
