yah, i think the good doc's diagnosis might be on target. there might be some sludge in there as well as it being over filled. i thought that this stage of my motor vehicle experience was over; i have to say that it's well worth it with the delica though. thanks for your input all.

the heat gauge was up at about the 3/4 mark and the coolant began over flowing

running hot on steep grades
hello,
so.... i took my delica through manning park today and found that it had a tendency to run hot going up prolonged grades of 7 degrees or more. is this normal for delicas? has anyone else experienced this? any input would be appreciated.

i'm a carpenter as well (in abbotsford). hello all, Abbotsford B.C. We have had our delica for about 40 hours and counting. it is a 91 exceed wagon in amazing condition, bought in a private sale. I'm sure we will have much to write about in the future... would love to hear about other newbies experiences with the delica good and bad. -cheers
