** SOLD ** Actually Traded in - Thule 953 roof racks - $400

I bought the Thule 953, lock cylinders, and 58" load bars from The Rack Stop one month ago. They've been used once and now I'm selling my Delica (P35W) which is one of the vehicles that this will fit. The 953 foot is an 11" rise that connects to a rain gutter very easily and quickly. I can...

* SOLD * North Shore Racks 4 bike rack for sale - $400

I'm selling my NSR 4 bike rack. My van is also being sold, and unfortunately the 4 bike rack will be too large for the civic that I'll be driving next. These racks are so good however that I will be buying a 2 bike version for the civic. The rack is primarily for mountain bikes, but road bikes work ...

Re: Leaking Baldwin BD28.....brand new filter(s)

Apparently some filter manufacturers have been using rubber gaskets from China - the rubber is inferior and too hard. This would explain the poor seal - keep an eye out for it.

Re: Leaking Baldwin BD28.....brand new filter(s)

Definitely not two gaskets, thanks for the heads up though. In the end I fixed it by tightening the shit out of the filter. Literally, I can't get it any tighter and I'm using a strap wrench style filter wrench. I'll have to inspect the threads on the next filter change, could be some rust or someth...

Leaking Baldwin BD28.....brand new filter(s)

So.....everyone is swearing by these BD28 filters for the L300. Figured I'd give it a try. Problem is....it leaks. I spun it on (no xthread) and hand tightened. The filter instructions say 3/4 of a turn with the filter wrench to seat it....seems a bit excessive, but okay, so I give it an extra 3/4 t...

Re: CADA Seeking federal ban on RHD imports in Canada!

There's a lot of talk about the difficulty of passing on the left and the need to drive as close to the center line as possible. Hmmmm.....you know the inverse is true though - it's much safer in a RHD vehicle to gauge your distance to cyclists, pedestrians and parked cars. The cycling groups and su...

Re: Imported with Steven, info on Japanoid, and on CVI

The headlights have been changed now. Depot E-coded. Apparently these lights have moisture issues sometimes, I'll have to see if I can seal it up a bit better, but for now at least it's legit.

Re: Imported with Steven, info on Japanoid, and on CVI

I sent Steven a message letting him know that Japanoid and CVI have both pointed out the headlight issue. He immediately offered to sort it out. Which is great.....but......WTF wasn't it done in the first place!?!?

Buyer beware.....

Re: Delica Canada Stickers

Hi there,

My white Deli would look good sporting a delica club sticker as well. What's the availability? I scanned through the thread but didn't come up with how to get my hands on one.

Imported with Steven, info on Japanoid, and on CVI

I imported my L300 through Steven (Rising Sun Autos). He didn't have his shop setup yet and my experience has been a mixed one. He got me an excellent van with low mileage from the auction and brought it over. Many things weren't done until his shop got setup. I stayed on top of it and finally got m...
