Re: Back from the (mostly) dead. Avec la questions.

Hey folks. I know I wasn't terribly active on here, only made it to one Vic meet, and my ride is still up for sale on the Trader page. Plans change. Boba and I had some great times together, and I'm not quite ready to part with him just yet. I got some good news the other day, and will be coming in...

I find dropping tire pressure down to around 20 psi also makes a huge difference.

C'mon folks - From a technical review of aviation fuel: (http://www.cgabusinessdesk.com/document/aviation_tech_review.pdf - page 4): "...In a jet engine, small carbonaceous particles are formed early in the combustion process. These particles continue to burn as they pass through the flame and a...

Was someone looking for a cargo trailer?

Can't find the original post, but I seem to remember someone was looking for a cargo trailer a while back. Saw a beaut being auctioned off by the Feds on Crown Assets (a forfeited/seized asset). Bidding is open until Sep 9 I think: https://www.gcsurplus.ca/mn-eng.cfm?snc=wfsav&sc=enc-bid&scn...

Good to know - thanks.

By the time I'm checking the thread on a new filter, I'm usually on my back reaching under the van with the filter full of fresh oil - not when I'd like to discover it doesn't fit!

Re: SFO 8532 Filter

Anyone else having issues with this filter? I just picked up 3 from CVI, but haven't tried one on my L400 yet.

I've been tempted to get a 17' Boler to pull behind my L400.

Now you're making me think larger....

Can't hurt

Dustin
X2, sounds about right; Howes recommends 640:1 and 2-stroke consensus seems to be 200:1, so 3:1 oil:Howes would follow that logic.

Then add around 1 cup (250ml) of the blend per 50L fillup.

AVOID Chevron car wash @ MacDonald/4th in Vancouver/Kits

Automated car washes are never the best choice, I know. But they have their time and place. And my L400 with its little plastic bits, parking pole and ladder fits nicely through the touchless kind without worrying about getting things torn off. This evening I ran through this particular one only to ...

Re: Rear A\C keeps blowing the 30 amp fuse

Can't find the link, but on the UK site there is a photo set of some guy cleaning a ton of ancient aggregated mud out of his A/C equipment (the condenser circuit in the back was particularly clogged up). If your motors/etc. are severely gummed up that might something to think about.
