Re: 1993 P35W in Edmonton $5500!!

It has been sitting in Edmonton for one year and has not had any OPP inspections done. It would probably serve someone in Alberta better as is cost about $450 in fuel, insurance and a one way flight to transport it to Edmonton. I think the tires are DOT but expect to get new ones as I can't remember...

Re: Looking for

What are you planning on using them for? I have 6 rhd vehicles sitting in canada looking to be sold for cost but they are in good condition. If you're planning on crashing them for example, they'd be too expensive. If not I do have a friend who has a rhd Toyota carib which is a bit beat on the outsi...

Re: Did anyone drove the " Monster Delica " in Richmond

I have a lifted delica as big as that and I have to tell you it handles remarkably well on the road. Never once did it feel tippy and I would say it handles just as well as a stock delica. I know this sounds hard to believe but it's true. When you get shaken (a bi-annual safety inspection) here in J...

Sun and Snow in Japan

Perhaps I'm beating a dead horse here, but I'm sending out another invitation to come and visit Japan again. Imagine doing a roadtrip in a Delica, in Japan! I run a ski lodge and tour company and sell export and rent out cars here in Hokkaido, the Northernmost island. Summer here is lush like a rain...

Hiace haters

I'm a proud owner of several Delicas. I love the delica starwagon's rugged looks, the bush bar, the fact that it's a part time 4wd and that it looks good lifted but... The Toyota Hiace has more power (i think pound for pound the 3.0lturbo D was the best engine that toyota ever made), runs smoother, ...

Re: Just flipped my van

Hello Adam, Sorry to hear about your accident, no one seriously hurt is a big plus. You can replace a car... I remember catching some sleep in the back of the 15 passenger van on the way to a cut block one day (treeplanting); new driver, way too fast on gravel road, fish tail, overcompensation of st...

Re: Importing grey market Motorcycles?

I would stick to the 15 year old rule. Better to be safe than sorry. If you would like to import some bikes I may be able to help but you need to know specifically what (15yr old) bike you want to order.

Re: Hello fellow Delica lovers

I agree the silver is by far the nicest color, but unfortunately very rare and that one sold months ago. White is your safest bet. I do have a white one which is not posted. It's a 1989 (old style that I prefer as the headlights are readily available anywhere in Canada and the shape has an old schoo...

Re: Start planning your trip now

It may be still available but unfortunately I can't help you, that shop is not to be trusted, you may never see your money again. That's a whole other topic. Sorry. Yes I know Rossu-san (you know niseko's a small town), that guy has more fingers in more pies than anyone! And don't worry about lettin...

Start planning your trip now

Hello all, I actually made a similar post here about two years ago and I just want to remind everyone again about what we do and how you can visit Japan on a budget. I know there are a lot of delica owners out there who are also sports enthusiasts, in particular skiers or boarders but have not yet m...
