Re: Trade a 2007 Toyota Yaris for a L300 Delica?
I went and had a look at the delica in Abbotsford today. Took it to CVI for an inspection he says mechanically sound. However the Roof has a rather large corrosion problem and suggested that it is very expensive to repair. In the end I decided they were not going to offer me enough for the yaris and...

Re: Re-charge A/C
All you really need to know is where the Low Pressure Port is (I bet someone on this site knows that) Stay away from the High Pressure port. Hook up the Bottle of coolant with the Pressure manifold and quick release they provide. Start the van set the AC to Max and then open the valve (on the Bottle...

Re: Trade a 2007 Toyota Yaris for a L300 Delica?
Thanks J.Paul I am hoping that someone out there has a Delica and needs a commuter. If I can't find any one I am probably going to go to Five Star and do the trade in thing. But they of course need to make some money on the deal so I would have to make up the difference. And thanks FalcoColumbarius ...

Re: Re-charge A/C
I had all of the same reservations as you guys. Did it myself and saved $200. The people telling you not to are the ones charging $260 for $30 worth of coolant and 20 mins of work. It is hard to mess up, and a very common problem with all cars. Of course if you have more serious problem than a slow ...

Re: Re-charge A/C
I have a 2001 Saab with a R-134a system in it. I know it has a slow leak in the ac system. I couldn't find anyone local willing to do some work on it so I went down to Crappy tire and bought that Red Tek coolant (they are sold out of the sealant in Duncan) I added two cans to the the system and it's...

Re: Is Five star auto worth the extra money?
Thanks J.Paul exactly the type of feed back I am looking for. Just so everyone else knows they also include a one year warranty. I just want to know from other peoples experience if they are good value

Is Five star auto worth the extra money?
Good Afternoon everyone. I'm in the market for a new Delica and have noticed that Five Star Auto in Parksville is priced $3000 to $5000 higher than anywhere else. I realize they put alot of work into the vehicle. But is it worth that much? Thanks and love the forum.

Trade a 2007 Toyota Yaris for a L300 Delica?
Hi I have a 2007 Toyota Yaris that I was using to commute from Duncan to Victoria. I am no longer commuting and would like to trade for a Good Delica. It is a two door hatch with 49000K, mostly Highway, Manual transmission, and a great little commuter car. There is 11000K left on the bumper to bumpe...
