Re: '92 Exceed Rear Drive Shaft / Bullbars / Left Mirror
I also need a left hand mirror assembly - took it through a car wash that tore it off and smashed it, whoooops.

'92 Exceed Rear Drive Shaft / Bullbars / Left Mirror
My rear drive shaft self-destructed on my way home yesterday, so I need a complete replacement (the half that broke damaged the half that was intact) and the tow truck managed to bend the hell out of part of the bull bars, so now I also need them.

Broken into downtown Friday night....
Just walked by a black looking Delica on Drake and Howe downtown van with Alberta plates on it that had it's right side middle window smashed with glass on the ground... I wish there was a more direct way of alerting the driver, but this was all I could think of.

Re: Inverter / Electronics question (true sine or modified?)
I would go for true sine wave as well... My cheap crappy tire 400 watt inverter is slowly ruining my laptop's power supply... I get a lot of buzzing from audio out now, even when it's plugged in at home (but clean sound when just running on batts)

Re: Fuel Temp gauge
I picked up a Princess Auto oil temp gauge and used a brass tee on the return line for the sensor, unfortunately the range is too high and doesn't register anything until it's been running on WVO for quite a while... I think what I'll do eventually is just get an analog-digital input for the compute...

Re: WVO quality
Sticky injectors was the cause of my year-round rough starting issue, apparently the stuff that gets stuck to the injectors warms up and they work great but when starting cold they sometimes won't pop since they're pretty much glued shut. Had them cleaned and had smooth cold starts ever since. So w...

Re: Battery Leakage
The Van could be over charging the batteries... if the regulator is broken and isn't detecting a charged state it may continue to charge the batteries once they're charged...

Re: Fuel Temp gauge
when you're talking about fuel temperature on the return line reaching 160F, you're talking about the diesel temp until it's switched over, correct? and do you (or VO controller) turn the vegtherm on before the switchover to bring the diesel up to that temperature?

WVO Temp sensor location
I picked up an oil temperature gauge at princess auto finally... also got some fittings from the home depot to get it installed. I'm wondering where it should go... Where do you think the best place for it is and why? I was considering the return line from the injection pump, but I'm not sure if tha...

Re: WVO Aircare?
Mine was 10% on diesel when I had it tested last year. I didn't have veg installed yet but next year when I'm due for inspection I'll see how veg does.

Re: Trailer Hitches
I don't think anyone has found a "stock" hitch. The nearest thing has been getting a Princess Auto one, then modifying it. Most of the people in the Vancouver area have been recommending E&H Hitch. They've done custom hitches for a bunch of Delicas, so it's hardly custom anymore. If m...

Re: Biodiesel problem
I have bought B20 from autogas propane in Burnaby and my van ran just fine on it, no extra smoke, some power loss and fuel consumption went way up I just tried bio for the first time, filled up on B20 at autogas on main street. Ran exactly the same but I got significantly less fuel economy.. 100km ...
