Mount Sheer Townsite (upper Brittania Mines)
Last weekend I took a trip to Mount Sheer with the kids. There's a lot of cool stuff up there in the hills! The road is in really good shape. So good I encountered a stock Impreza driving around up there. I'm not going to post directions for a couple of reasons. 1. People are going up there and remo...

Re: Delica Stolen... Any help appreciated...
In the past I've seen your Deli at the Princess Auto in Langley and at the Ikea meet a while back. I'm sorry I never got to talk to you about your vehicle before this, when it was parked at the Princess Auto my wife and I were admiring the rhino lining job you'd done on the front. I really hope you ...

Re: Custom Dashboard
Thanks for the ideas. I was looking more at a full fiberglass dash like this...has anyone taken on a project like this? I've done stuff like this before, it's not that hard if you've got the tools and know what you're doing (like everything in life) but you'll need a bunch of free time and your veh...

Re: I have "truck envy"!
Just did the math, these things (the 6x6 version) weight about 13 Tons, get 1/4 the fuel economy of a Delica (not that bad all things considered) and cost about $320 to fill the tank at today's Diesel prices (and you'll be refilling it in almost the same range as you get out of a Deli). I still want...

Re: I have "truck envy"!
Both have self-recovery winches which is great because a gang of Delicas couldn't pull these out of wherever they are going. When I was reading up on M35's I saw a lot of similar comments ie: "great trail recovery vehicle, but with a curb weight between 13,000 and 16,000 lbs if you get stuck n...

Re: I have "truck envy"!
I saw both of those back in August when I was driving through Golden, I had a small freakout session in the drivers seat. My wife just shook her head.

Re: Coming soon!
I heard stories of cast aluminum blocks cracking (although I don't know how much of that is rumor or not). But most billet ones I found were either 6000 or 7000 series aluminum. 7075 seems a bit ridiculous imo.
