Re: Insurance in Ontario (Im sure you have heard it before)
Brokers suck here in Ontario - I will NOT deal with them anymore in the future. The broker I dealt with passed me off to Facility as well, 2700 a year. I accepted it at first and after a month of feeling like I was being takin to the cleaners I started calling insurance companies myself. I found a c...

Re: Hi Guys
Wow - and here I thought we were alone in Ontario. 8-) My Wife and I would love to meet up with some other Delica owners this summer. We have an L300 Jasper edition that we picked up of a nice fella out in Barrie last August that came from Maximum Overdrive out West. Its been the best vehicle Ive ev...

Re: Having doubts a Deli is right for me. Pls tell me I'm w
agreed - I get all my parts from Coombs Country Auto, great prices and very quick shipping to Kingston, probably faster to Toronto. I'd take the advice of the other guys here, look around out West on the net for more options. Its great the Delicas are slowly showing up here but they are very high pr...

yeah - I just saw that its the same place 8-) So there you go, you have a parts source and a mechanic. Pricey yup but I suppose thats the price of "parts on location". You can get the parts shipped but your obviously gonna pay for it. Lordo, they really need to open a few in Ontario. Mitsu...

You might also want to find yourself solid insurance as well, before you buy it. Being in Ontario it can be a problem. Call the companies directly and avoid brokers, they are a joke. I went with Personal, $550 a year full coverage. I had to jump through hoops to get it though so dont be discouraged ...

Re: Want to bring 1992 Delica RWD Diesel van from BC to ONT
Provincial Inspections are not a problem. They check for everything that should be checked for here. Just pick your garage wisely before you put it in there. Meaning, ask them if they have any issues with RHD's. Most will be excited to have a cool van like our Delica's come in but some ignorant A-ho...

Re: Don't even take your LHD to Canadian Tire!
The local garage I brought it to did the Federal and the Provincial. I only paid for the Provincial & the Air Test. The local shop was actually listed on the package that I got from the RIV as a Federal Inspection center. So short answer to my long winded answer, no, it was included in the RIV f...

Re: Don't even take your LHD to Canadian Tire!
Not quite true, I imported a US Vehicle and refused to let CT inspect it. I had it done at a local garage, both Federal & Provincial. What's even more scary is that if you have a US import, they are the only ones allowed to do the RIV inspection....
