Re: Roll Over in Oregon
I didn't mind the scrapes as much as the wind whistling in through the top of the drivers side door frame. Needed to be realigned to keep the rain out also. Reece at Eagle Collision here in PoCo did an A+ job of fixing her up. Not so much a panic when it happened either, slo-mo and very gentle reall...

Re: Roll Over in Oregon
Thanks for reading, glad to make your day... If I recall, you've had your own Heroic exploits yourself involving rescuiing some old folks in a flood isn'nt that right? We're not heroes. We're CANADIANS!!!! LOL! I have to give credit to my lady , I asked her if she wanted to continue down by air and ...

Re: Roll Over in Oregon
I have to stress that it was a miraculously "soft" landing. The mirror simply folded over, I'm amazed that the window rain/wind deflector thingamajig didn't get damaged, now that's amazing! Here are a few pix I took in Yuma once we arrived plus one of Mike from Art's in Ontario. http://i22...

Re: Roll Over in Oregon
Yes, it was quite miraculous. In fact it ended up being quite a soft roll over. Everything went in slow motion as I'm sure anyone out there who has ever rolled can attest. We were quite fortunate that the snow plough had pushed the snow to the centre median and not off to the side. These vans are fo...

Roll Over in Oregon
Finally, This great misadventure took place Dec.29th, 2007 en route to Yuma, Arizona and New Years in Vegas. Our planned stop was meant to be Boise where we were destined to spend the night "couchsurfing" , a new activity we just started out on, it's great for travelling on the cheap plus ...

FRONT END ALIGNMENT SPECS?
Greetings to all!
The good news is that my Deli is almost done at the body shop. Unfortunately, the shop doesn't have the alignment specs for the van.
It's a '92 Delica Exceed Starwagon. Does anyone out there have this information?
Many thanks.

SIDE MOULDING
Finally!
Yoko's being worked on Monday, (after the roll in the mountains) and my bodyshop guy is having a hard time sourcing the side moulding strip that runs along the length of the body on the drivers side. My Delica is white.
ANYBODY?

Thanks for your input everyone. I made a couple of phone calls this afternoon and came across a mobile mechanic on Craig's list by the name of Ray, He was great, gave me some free advice and it worked. He told me to clean my battery posts and connectors and give it another go. I took some steel wool...

DEAD DEAD DEAD
Yesterday when I turned the ignition key the dashboard lights shut off. I turned the key back and then to the acc position, the dashboard lights came on , I heard the usual two clicks from my glowplugs and she fired up as normal. This morning...nada...dead, dead, dead. Took out my meter, the battery ...

Body shop and mechanic needed!
Hey fellow Deli lovers, Here's the long and short of it, I will post pix. ROLLED my beloved YOKO in the mountains outside Boise, Idaho and drove away to tell the tale! (Black Ice, nasty stuff!) Anyway, we are currently in Yuma, Arizona, banged up a bit, dented, scratched with a leaking and misaligne...
