Good job!
Would you care to PM me your rough route in MN? I plan to ride my Enduro down there by September 2017 ...

Vibration / Noise at low RPM
Hi
check the exhaust, especially at the end where it lives near the rear leaf spring mounts. The rpm range and noise would be typical for the exhaust touching any chassis part.

Hi
you may be lucky with a Diesel injection expert rather than a Mitsubishi shop, if you want to look along your route.

L300 Front Head Light Alignment
Hi, depending on your model I guess. The latest facelift there was in Europe had electric headlight adjustment, but you also could use the 8mm hex and crosshead screws under the reflectors. This is how it works: remove the indicator to get to the adjustment screws. Orange are the adjustment screws, ...

L300 4x4 from france...
Hi had the same on my old van, absolutely no problems but better looks and more stability in bends. The only issue I had: a rumbling noise after a while, with all wheel nuts tightened correctly. It turned out that the (hidden) nuts which hold the spacer to the hub were coming loose - so be sure to d...

Hi there from Autriche,
whenever you pass through let me know. I have some L300 company here for your baby :D
And a coffee at least, or a place to camp, whatever.

Thanks for the Full L300 Workshop Manual
Well, it looks like all those bits and pieces to be found somewhere on some Russian sites :D - but thankfully merged to a big PDF. This should save some L300 lives ... Thanks!

There is a sliding roof window section in the official workshop manual, towards the end of chapter 42 (Body).

Re: L300 curtain tabs on a 3D printer
Hi
I ended up using standard tabs, which do fit the rails if you unmount the rails and squeeze them a bit more narrow (in a vice), then put standard tabs in and remount the rails. Downside is that the Mitsubishi tabs will not fit any more, so you have to replace all of them for new ones.

Re: lets play... name that van part!
Hi Scott, that looks like a little air compressor for an air horn. No hose connector there? Maybe once upon a time it was for a diff lock or a kind of pump-up shockies. What happens if you unplug the cables and power them (red to battery positive, black to battery negative)? It may as well be a kind...

Re: 1990 L300 - reverse lights won't turn on
Hi there, this is a very simple system. The lights can be undone from the outside with a cross head screwdriver, to check the bulbs. The next suspect would be the switch. It lives on the right side of the gearbox (underside), with a cable bolted to the gearbox in 4 places. Number 3 here: L300_rueckf...

Re: troubleshooting a 1990 L300 5-speed overheating (surprise!)
Hi be careful about the heater hose, one of mine failed me and the cylinder head was gone. Always check the expansion vessel for the coolant level staying being between min and max. I would check that before and after every ride. Some fluctuation is OK, but make sure the hoses and connections are ti...
