Re: Delica Wiki
What are you sorry about? Your application preference? I don't think this is something to apologize for. Maybe continuing with your fork is a good path. Although if you do decide to use the existing wiki you can do all your editing in vim (or emacs) :) (I'm a unix hacker and I mainly edit the Social...

Re: Delica Wiki
Hello, Glad to hear about some wiki love! I currently host the Socialtext wiki. (And I work for Socialtext :). I have no strong objection to moving the wiki to another service. But right now many people already have accounts and bookmarks to the current one. Is there some specific problem you find l...

turbo timer is screaming
Hi, I haven't used my delica for a few weeks, after that cold snap. My fuel lines gelled up (too much biodiesel, my bad), but my wife got it to start this morning! But now my turbo timer screams 100% of the time, unless the car is off and the doors are closed. Any ideas why this would be? The turbo ...

Re: 1 battery instead of two?
I like the idea of the single 'super battery' replacing the 2 I currently have. How does the single battery fit into the old double-wide spot? What is the install like?
Thanks,
Luke
Thanks,
Luke

Re: 1 battery instead of two?
Thanks for this thread, folks! I just was outside with bcaa trying to get my deli to start. I think my fuel has gelled up, so I need to wait for warmer weather. Unfortunately, I have to leave it outside all the time.... Brr.... Oh well, good time for the car co-op. :) If I'm going to replace my batt...

Chilliwack River Camping
I just got back from a great weekend camping on the Chilliwack River. We found a camp after dark on Friday night between the Chipmunk and Rapids forest service sites right by the river. On saturday, we went out to drive to the base of mt. Cheam. But we actually took a different FSR and climbed a dif...

Re: Carbon Tax-Free Biodiesel Coming to a Corner Near You!
I ran various mixes of biodiesel for about 8 months, (changing the fuel filter every 3-4 months), and then had RJD Services in North Van to install viton fuel lines (removing the rubber ones). Now I'm running b100 from the Vancouver Biodiesel Coop. It's great. Less black smoke than before, smells mu...

Re: My half assed cheap plan
I just signed up with the new Vancouver Biodiesel Co-op at the Recycling Alternative. They have some WVO->biodiesel processing equipment, and when i talked to the organizer dudes they said that they would consider allowing members to process their own wvo using the co-op's equipment. That would be s...

Did anything ever become of this?
I'm interested in this too, although I don't run wvo (yet?).

Re: Hallo
Hello, welcome to the community!
I run biodiesel very often in my Delica. Biodiesel eats rubber, so you need to change tubing and stuff after running bio for a while, but that's the same as with bio in any vehicle.
Cheers,
Luke

Re: Recommendations on dealers?
I really want to drive across our great country, but I don't want to drive back. :) I was thinking that sometime I should buy a delica (I live in Vancouver), and then find a buyer on the east coast to sell it to.... Hmmm...

Captains chair wobble fix
I followed the instructions on the wiki (http://wikrad.com/delica/index.cgi?captain_seat_wobble_fix) last night, and it's a HUGE improvement. I didn't have the wiki handy while I was doing it, so it took me longer as I had to figure out the last part of the process. A huge thank-you to whoever wrote...
