Fuel injector seized
Hello all, I'm in the process of removing fuel injectors and two came free without issue, snapped free and spun out with fingers. The other two are seizing after I turn them about 1/16 of a turn. They do not snap loose like the other two. I'm thinking either carbon deposits at the base of the inject...

Re: neutral safety switch and glow plugs
Okay...thanks - seems simple enough. Was hoping someone knew if glow plugs cycle when ignition is turned on when vehicle is NOT in park or neutral - anyone?

neutral safety switch and glow plugs
Hello everyone, Searched the archives but did not find an answer for this. Neither the glow plugs or starter are engaging when the key is turned on. I am trying to narrow down whether this is due to the neutral safety switch or ignition switch. There is noticeable resistance in teh shifter when movi...

Kudos to Assiniboine Auto
Just wanted to post a good experience I recently had with Steven at Assiniboine Autos. I decided to replace my water pump before doing the cross-country journey. When in there I found a broken balance belt, which appeared to be caused by badly leaking oil seals (especially the balance shafts). Steve...

Re: Coast to coast on a tank of diesel...?
Hi Ed,
Thanks very much for the offer! Greatly appreciated. I will be coming through Salmon Arm Sunday night and will get a fill if that works for you. I'll also contact the Plantdrive suppliers - thanks for that.
Great!

Coast to coast on a tank of diesel...?
Greetings all, Making my way across this nation (again...) with my dogs, but this time on Veg! I'm just putting the final touches on my PlantDrive install, with much thanks to those on the forum that have posted tips and pics. Presently running diesel through the VO side of things and all looks good...

Re: Has anyone imported a Deli from UK yet.....
I have brought two vans into Halifax via RO-RO from the UK. The process was pretty straightforward - if the van is clean and the paperwork in order, the import people seem to be pretty chill. PM me if you need more details.

Okay, more searching and I found a previous post. Giving the fan housing a whack was all that was needed. Now I can at least wait for warmer weather. Thanks.

front heater blower relay
Hey everyone,
The front blower motor is not working at all. Not good in -25C! It is not the fuse. Can someone tell me where the relay for the front blower motor is?
Thanks.

Re: Hello from Winnipeg
Hey Brewskie, I have both a Liteace and a Delica. There are a couple things on the Toyota that I prefer - depending on your needs they may be important; Better fuel economy - Toyota averages just under 10L/100km vs Mitsubishi with a little over 12L/100km (wind seems to make quite a difference in the...

Short circuit after radio wiring
Ran into a little problem after wiring in a new radio that I thought I'd pass on. I wired everything up and it worked great, until I turned the headlights on last night. The fuse to the dash lights and tail lights blew. Radio still worked fine. I had just added a switch for my glow plug control so a...

Re: "Replacing" glow plug timer with push button switch
Thanks for that. No extra switch spot on our rig. I used the one beside the cigarette lighter and ran power from the radio. Since it's already fused I decided not to run an inline fuse, and used the existing relay. Lucky for me, the previous owner put new glow plugs in it, I assume in trying to fix ...
