I've just pulled these images from the movie's Facebook page.....I'm especially liking the last one (for obvious reasons!) http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i251/bruceholder/Retro/My%20Cars/Delica/DER01.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i251/bruceholder/Retro/My%20Cars/Delica/DER02.jpg http://i7...

Re: 2 weeks, 1,200 miles and a Delica...all inspired by Cananda!
Many thanks for the comments.....I am indeed hoping to come over again sometime. It's not as easy as it was for me back a few years ago but I am trying to find the money to put aside for the specific purpose of visiting your amazing country again. Catch up with familiar faces and hopefully meet some...

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm gradually getting the hang of this photography thing! Every day I am learning more & more. David, I'll send you a PM in a moment. Here are a few more shots that I took on my trip: (Photobucket seems to have made the sky in this shot look like a series of coloure...

I reckon there is as much beauty in dark skies as there is in bright blue ones: http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i251/bruceholder/Wales%2010/SS18a.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i251/bruceholder/Wales%2010/SS19a.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i251/bruceholder/Wales%2010/SS20a.jpg

Thanks for the link Fexlboi, I've put a response in that thread just to answer some of the comments etc....
I'll get some updates going on this thread with the other mods just to keep everything in one place.
It's good to be back :)

Re: post apocalyptic delica.
LOL - just been pointed to this through a link by Fexlboi. Quite interesting how news passes around the world (someone sent me a link to a thread similar to this one on the Australian forum) This is indeed the 'Mud Monkey' in one of its recent guises. Jesse, the rear windows were left like that on t...

Re: Say hello to the new Mud Monkey (this one is for keeps!)
So it's been a good few years since I updated this thread and a lot has happened to the motor! Let's just say that is no longer resembles the L300 I bought back in 2008. I've still got lots of things lined up for it and it's been through a few different guises in the past 12 months. Here are a coupl...

How's my fave country in the world??
...and how are my fave people? Not been on here in a while - life has kinda got in the way a bit, but I'll hopefully be pulling up a chair a bit more than I have been for the past few years. I hope you're all keeping well, enjoying your Delica's and most of all....enjoying that AMAZING place that yo...

Re: Custom hoist
Nice easy way to do it - but you might want to consider getting yourself a bigger/taller jack?? I bought a 3 ton garage jack about 4yrs ago and can't live without it now....the perfect thing for jacking up a Delica...along with some tall axle stands etc...money well spent. Ramps are just the shizzle...

Re: Say hello to the new Mud Monkey (this one is for keeps!)
The other progress is the swap over of the original wheels with the black steels from the original MM.... While I was at it, I decided to fit my newly made 2" lift shackles (4" longer shackles) http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i251/bruceholder/L300/Odds/Shackles/MM176a.jpg These bad boys ...

Re: Say hello to the new Mud Monkey (this one is for keeps!)
What with lots of work on and getting frustrated with electronics, little has happened on the Mud Monkey for a few weeks. Sad news - I sold the original Mud Monkey now to a fellow member of MDOCUK, so it looks like the wee fella is going to a good home. I'll be sad to see it go! The only progress I ...

Hey Josh - that is looking super slick! Lovely work on the rack (that comment is for you AND James) and I'm glad to see you're managing to fight those Redneck tendencies and have refitted the plastic sill trims.... :-P Can't wait to see the canvas Buckingham Palace in all its splendour - will you ha...
