i have the seemingly ubiquitous rust spot on my roof, right above the front window and over where the r/v mirror mounts. L400, no c/l roof. gotta find some time to deal with it this winter, but I'm doubtful of my ability to do a professional job.

I commute to work by bike too on a Kona Paddy Wagon, 1 speed with a flip-flop hub (I.e. fixed or freewheel option). it's a steel frame with braze-ons for racks and fenders, and just the right gear ratio for cruising speeds and climbing the city hills. geometry similar to a cross bike, which is perfe...

rear window seal

this may be a dumb question, but the seal around my rear window (L400) looks like it melted in Japan's heat and extruded around the sides of the window. now the extruded sealant is cracked, although still watertight. is the fix as simple as taking it to an autoglass shop so they can pull the rear wi...

looking for thule or yakima feet for 96 L400

i have the load bars and box off our Mazda (fit kit or set for sale by the way, 99 Protégé), but need feet. I'm more interested in purchasing and re-using someone's underutilized fit kit than buying new. hook a brother up. 

With two kids (8 and 6) , I can't fathom sleeping inside our van. It would feel super cramped and i am borderline claustrophobic. I'm impressed with some of the cool setups you guys have, which I can dig from a gear storage perspective. We bought our deli because we need it to get us places we can c...

Forgot to say that the importer (private) had a safety inspection done for temp insurance to allow for a test drive. The insurance agent didn't bat an eyelash at the inspection, go figure. Butch did a pre-purchase inspection too, and it checked out well with the usual requirements of tie rods, boot,...

Great info Ian, thanks for the thoughtful response. Hadn't considered liability or light trajectory before. Ima switch them out when I take it to CVI for the scrubdown next week. I didn't realize that the MO hitch would have three receivers! I think I've seen a photo of a Delimog with three before c...

Hello peoples, we're pumped to have found a 96 Space Gear Exceed II in great condition and with low km, fresh off the boat. Hitch install this weekend and 4 bike rack and tires next week. The family has needed a wagon like this for a long while, but it was worth the wait. I've done some sleuthing to...
