Throw on some.ProComp 9000 shocks. Will be softer for offroad, but squishy for around town. Also, buy an aircrompressor and let some air out of the tires once you hit the gravel. Makes a world of difference for comfort and traction.
Good luck.

Re: Rust Repairs
Bummer. Anything can be fixed. Just depends on how much you love the van and how deep your pockets are. I've been picking away at rail rust on mine, about $1200 in and probably need another $1000 worth of work done to get it all. It's worth it to me, I love my van and have thrown way more at it than...

Re: L400 warm engine starting issues
That's a tough one. Sounds a bit like air in the lines. If your injectors were needing serviced you'd most likely have black smoke and diesel knock. Could be yiu injection pump, but thats an expensive ghost to chase. Better to know it's the pump for sure before pulling it. Your a/c will bump up your...

Could be a U joint. Get under the van and try and rock the drive shaft. If there's play left and right, you've found the culprit.

Re: L400 Dual Batteries / what can i get?
My understanding is dual batteries give you more CCA (cold cranking amps) for winter start up. Not all Delicas came with the dual, but if your mechanic removed one he would need to replace the dual with a single that has sufficient CCA. If not it will be a hard start in cold weather.

That's a weird one. I'd guess your IP or a fuel line.

Re: TPS- revving high with light touch on accelerator
Diesel? Could be you aps (same as tps, just called aps on the series 2 if your looking for the part). You can test it with a multi meter. Would be handy to get the code being tossed. Check this forum post, scroll down to post #8 it will tell you how to get the code without a code reader. https://www...

Re: Webasto Airtop 2000

Hi there, would you have any photos of your install that you could post? Ended up taking mine out and building a portable unit I can throw on my rack. Found the ins...
