Alignment after shock swap?
I just swapped out my front shocks(monroe550012) and wanna make sure if I need an alignment or not. I know the alignment is good coz I just had it done after some new tierod ends went in. Thanks

Re: Child seat and cup holders
Oz, Perhaps you would be so kind as to explain your statement....."That climbing rope tether is down right stupid..." (with appropriate testing data backup) and then enlighten us as to your ideas. I don't think anyone would intentionally install something that is not safe. Lacking data, o...

Re: Child seat and cup holders
WOW! Why don't you actually do the research to find out if it is legal to have the carseat anchored to the seat and provide some actual helpful comment instead of just stirring the pot? One thing with all these DIY tether mounts is...are they legal? Be a smart idea to find out from ones insurance p...

Re: Child seat and cup holders
One thing with all these DIY tether mounts is...are they legal? Be a smart idea to find out from ones insurance provider if they are happy with the way the seat has been installed. My understanding was that the tether had to be mounted to the body of the vehicle, not bolts on a seat. Would hate to s...

Re: Fuel consumption is sucking hard.
Not by that much. Different driving ? city/hwy ? easy to pluck 75km's worth out of the tank by lowering that right foot a touch more I drive it easy. No more than 105km/h Last tank was easy 70 percent hwy. Surrey to abbottsford everyday. I could almost watch the needle on the fuel gauge going down....

Re: Fuel consumption is sucking hard.
I just remembered something, the fella where I get my oil changes done said he put that Lucas oils stabilizer in(did an oil change on friday)
Making 15/40 oil even thicker yeah,(in the cold no good huh)
As far as the winter deisel would it effect my fuel consumption that much. By like 75 kms plus?

Fuel consumption is sucking hard.
Seems since its got cold my fuel consumption has gone through the roof. 53 litres today got me 375 kms, and that was 70% highway. With that much highway driving and from 53 litres I would usually easily get 450kms. Its driving just the same. The only thing I've noticed which is sort of weird is on d...

Re: Adding weight to your Deli for the winter
it makes a pretty large bang as the diff locks, like it was under a little bit to much stress to be put in 4wd. After that it unlocks going forward. I'd say you broke something... So this is what Ive worked out. The times that it clicks and unlocks going forward is only after I have tried to unlock...

Re: Adding weight to your Deli for the winter
The hubs will NEVER unlock driving forward, Well mine does! Then get them checked asap! because I wouldn't trust them to stay locked in 4wd either in that case! (and are you sure you are looking at the "wheel lock" light and not the 4wd light?) Yeah mate. I did it today. Did a little hill...
