L400 heater core leak

Hey all, seems I have a slight heater core leak. When I turn the heat on in the morning the windows fog up for a minute and I can smell coolant. Coolant level has barely dropped so it's nothing huge yet, just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the Bars liquid aluminum stop leak or something s...

Re: Urgent fuel consumption help! - EDIT: Problem solved!

If you take a couple trips around the block at slow speed and try to not use your brakes much, when you get back home you should be able to touch your rotors. They'll might be warm, but not scalding hot.

However, I've never done that and I want to make sure it's done properly. The only other way I can think to bolt it down is to build something around it which I ...

Re: Southern Ontario summer cruise?

Hey guys!! So there's a big van show and shine called VanFest in Aylmer on the 20th of June. I just sent in my registration, there's a Facebook page as well. It would be awesome to see some other Delicas there! http://vanning.com/vanfest/vanfest2015/preregback2015.html To register, it's pretty archa...

Re: Delica market eastcoast?

Tough because people don't know them at all, it scares people off. Also, insurance in the east coast generally seems to be private, private insurers don't have the Delica in their books and generally charge enormous amounts. Unless you're lucky. I tried to sell mine for a brief time of insanity. Lot...

Goodyear Duratrac's

IIRC the ply rating is total ply including sidewall. So I think E rated are 6 ply on the tread and 4 on the sidewall, totalling 10. I think. I could be completely wrong however.

Could one of the cables have shorted out when you were fiddling around maybe?

Re: So I have joned the Deli brigade. Pictures within.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will check the oil pressure sensor and valve cover gasket. hopefully not to serious. I was thinking I should probably get the timing chain done to as it was not done yet and I read it should be done every 100 thou? Thanks, Tom I was also looking into this, I have 230km...

Maybe they haven't updated the site. The blue ones are the ones I replaced. Email or give them a shout. They're fantastic so far. Biggest improvement in ride I've done in a long time.

How much oil do YOU put in when doing an oil change?

So every time I do an oil change, I can never seem to get the level right after. I measure it when I drain it, put back in a little less and wait until the next morning to top it up. A day or two later I'll check it again, sometimes it's still a little low so I add a bit, check the next morning and ...
