I remember them giving the Pajero a favourable review, mid-70s show.

Re: Greetings from Sardinia
Wow - you were looking for three years? Glad you found one.
Welcome to the group. I think you might be our first Sardinian - actually, I think you might be our ONLY Sardinian.
Good to know our little forum has such international appeal and usefulness.

Re: FREE - Pajero/Shogun Russek manual
So far: first to PM wants, but didn't include an address; second to PM included an address; third to PM offered to pay for postage, but didn't include their address.
I'll be mailing out the manual to the first to have included their address - that is, the second to PM.
Offer is now closed.

Good to see you folks arranging meets. While the concentrations are less on the East Coast than out here on the West, you're on your way to establishing a regular meeting that others can drop in on. Something like that REALLY should be possible out here in the greater Vancouver-area... PS: What's al...

FREE - Pajero/Shogun Russek manual
Free to you, to a good home, preferably to someone with a Pajero, one Peter Russek Pocket Mechanic Vehicle Manual. Features V6 and diesel engines, 1993 to 1998 (second generation). Very handy, I even used it a couple of times myself and I'm as handy at mechanics as a gardener. PM with a mailing addr...

Re: Strange coolant temps
If I remember correctly there are two thermostats available for the L300 engine: 82 deg C and 88 deg C. The lower temperature will give you a normal reading at the lower third line, while the higher one will give you a half-gauge reading. Neither is bad for this engine. Water temps over boiling are ...

Re: Power Folding Mirror Fix
Excellent posting.
I'm always amused at how some English swap the 'i' and the 'u' about in the word Mitsubishi. And this guy's using a soft 'j' in the name Pajero. I only recognised what he was talking about when I saw the footage of the mirror itself: "Hey, that's what Monty had!"

Excellent video - very interesting. 8000 cars per day - incredible.

Re: LED Bulb Installation For Tail Lights
I can't find it now, but there was a website that catalogued suitable replacement LED flasher relays for traditional relays: enter the original part number it tells you what LED one will work. That might be a route to pursue. And yes, the resistors don't always work, unfortunately, and I can't remem...

Re: LED Bulb Installation For Tail Lights
Either change the flasher unit or add in-line resistors. There are baggy kits of resistors specifically for LED lamps, usually hanging right next to them.
