what did you do WITH your delica today
We drove all the way out to UGA to see my brother graduate college. On the way home, stopped at a Chick Fil'a (fast food) I was approached by a guy who wanted to take a photo of the Delica...not unusual but this guy worked for Mitsubishi N.A and his boss was the Executive VP of Mitsu N.A. So I let h...

Looking to buy, do's and don'ts?
Photodoc, I can only speak from my own experience and what drew me to the Delica (L300) to begin with. For me the Diesel was one of the largest selling points due to many factors including: 1. simplicity, in both overall design and maintenance/repairs, 2.mpg ratio over petrol 3. WVO or other off-gri...

Stainless Steel Brake Caliper Pistons
Hi, i'm interested! Would you be making them for the dual piston upgrade? or the stock single configuration. I'm getting close to doing that mod. What kind of cost ballpark do you think these will be in?
Cheers..

headlight bezel removal?
Hey sk66, I defiantly had to aim my chisel at the screw heads (all of them..) and hit 'em real good several times. I went and bought a fresh screwdriver bit kit that came with a ratcheting handle from HF. The only one I could not get was that one right under the headlight. I used a 1/4" ring en...

Hey Mazda605, I don't think the oil change would be a factor in the issue you're having. The fuel filter could have been clogged causing irregular fuel flow, and changing it solved the issue OR your 25 y/o EGR is not functioning properly and since you basically shut it off by plugging the Vac hole y...

Done! and Mother nature has brought me a thunderstorm to test my handiwork :-) I took pics as I went and will post them when the wife gets back with her phone. Fingers crossed that we're High And Dry....so we can go On Through The Night. I've been listening to a lot of hearing impaired spotted cats ...

headlight bezel removal?
Hey Cosmo, thanks for the tip. I think the grinding compound for extra grip is an interesting idea. The problem I have to overcome is that my right hand is still very weak after the injury. I can barley make a fist, not great for trying to produce a bunch of torque to budge stubborn screws. I'm tryi...

So I bought the Seam sealer today! But these machine screws that hold the quarter panel on are a Bit#h! :-x I've hit them multiple times with the PB Blaster and knocked them with a hammer and chisel to try and break the bond. I'm running the risk of ruining the heads of the screws. I don't think any...

Thanks GB, I tried to ease one of those clips out but it seemed stubborn and I wanted use use Mind over Might...not my usual method but it was opposite day :-). It's a good thing i didn't pull it all the way off as I still have to get some seam sealer (or the Yank equivalent ) and more wire brushes....

So, i'm trying to remove the front upper quarter panels to check the seal for water intrusion AND, I cannot figure out how to remove the headlight bezel which the handy dandy manual say has to happen BEFORE you can take that panel off. It refers you to section 51 of the manual but section 51 does no...

New to the Delica world and lots of questions!
I'll second the Craigslist idea although I found four Yakima rain-gutter towers and two 58" cross-bars on Amazon (two separate sellers) all for less than the cost of two towers new from Yakima. I found good deals on roof baskets on CL but all the baskets seemed dinky after seeing the legit ones...
