Mine was broken, so I had the tire carrier strapped up to the body somewhere. Found a bolt at Canadian tire and crudely welded a nut onto it (tried not to breathe toxic smoke). Once I installed a boost gauge I discovered my waste gate was stuck open. I did not have any adjusting mechanism so I just took some vice grips and made then bends a bit sharper to shorten the rod. Instantly better performance ha.

It sounds like you're on the right path to longer Delica life.
