Pajero Petrol Parts Needed

We have the '93 and just had it done last week. I'll see if I can find the kit number for belt tensioners and pump.

Im not sure if ours is the GDI. All I know is 3.5 DOHC and it was in by the next morning.

Hope that helps.

PS, check rockauto.com thats where I found the part number for the kit.

Dash lights dim when headlights are turned on

Not sure, mine only dims a bit but are very close when the dimmer feature is at max. Maybe the dimmer pot has failed or has a loose wire.

Front winch mount options

For that kind of money, buy a winch. That looks useless with open diffs and has a very limited angle to pull. Not to mention too much stress on your drivetrain.

Re: Hard to sell L400 Series 2

I also had a friend blow a brake line on a H3 Hummer. GMC doesn't sell them anymore, so apparently they don't need to stock parts. The parts stores don't stock since there weren't that many to begin with! Funny thing is, they made it a funny shape so you can't just slap on a generic. That being said...

Re: RE: Re: Lets see your camping trailers!

It looks good so far! I like the idea of using the truck box and canopy (even if it is tapered ;-)) One thing that drew my attention is the drawbar: Drawbar.JPG Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the drawbar is in two pieces (marked orange and green). I'd be concerned about vertical motion ...

Lets see your camping trailers!

Well, as the family grows its time to buy a small reliable commuter for the wife, and I already drive a work van. We're getting rid of one Pajero but Im keeping the 2dr 2.8L. Its fun to drive, has been super reliable, has alot of new front end parts and IP seals replaced etc. I can finally modify it...

Re: Pajero timing issue, dies every time

Well, I've finally had time to get the ball rolling for my pump. I talked to GCL Diesel in Edmonton, they're the most reputable in Alberta and work on these pumps all the time. A complete rebuild, all new seals, cleaning etc runs at 7hrs @$130 per hour, plus the cost of the rebuild kit, probably aro...

Re: Front end work

I just found a guide on a toyota forum, the parts are almost identical to 4runners or tacoma's. I broke three princess auto ball joint pullers in the process, that was the biggest pain, but they replace it free everytime. The cost was much less than at Auto Value, and its the same quality and would ...

Re: front end "clink"

Ill be watching this as I have the same noise at my Swb pajeros front end. It used to only click while climbing steep obstacles in low range, but now does it all the time going through parking lots etc.
