Diesel Moot
Just added two-stroke this week (roughly 200:1). Made a noticeable difference to engine noise...less "clackety" (a technical term) for sure. Engine seems to be running smooth. We'll see if there's any change to mpg over the next few tanks as I've stopped with the stanadyne for now. Sent fr...

Diesel Moot
Anybody run any injector cleaners like Howes with their diesels? My Van and truck both love Shell Diesel. And both love the additives. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I use Shell diesel and either Howes or Stanadyne. Going to try two-stroke oil over the next few weeks. Sent from my iPhone using ...

Anybody running 2 stroke in their diesel?
There are a couple threads around indicating some have switched to 2 stroke oil as a "fuel additive". I've heard the ratio 200:1 somewhere. I plan to try it out once I'm through this bottle of stanadyne

Delica cold start problems, if not glow plugs then what else?
My ’92 Starwagon hates the cold! I have gone through the obvious on the glow plug side of things and am about 90% convinced my problem is not with the glow plugs. (The van was converted to a manual GP setup before I purchased it) Some of the troubleshooting I have done on the GP’s includes- replaci...

Front winch mount options
For that kind of money, buy a winch. That looks useless with open diffs and has a very limited angle to pull. Not to mention too much stress on your drivetrain. Apparently they still work with open diffs? I'll try to find the link. But yes the price is a bit of a barrier for what it is. Sent from m...

florescent Bulb Replacement
Hello Delica Peeps,, I just have a quick question regarding the florescent bulb in the rear of my Delica. For the last almost one year it's been working, but sub par. When you open the side door, the light does come on, but it's very dim. When i attempt to adjust the brightness, it doesn't change t...

Locate the Recreation Site
Thanks Irp374, those digital maps are great. What are you using to generate them? Yes, the Seton Rask Rd (the cyan route) is the one we took, but we forked to the right and took the yellow route to access the beach. We had traveled a bit further along the cyan route but it was being logged, and was ...

Locate the Recreation Site
I took the 3 older kids up to visit Grandma in Lillooet. We had a day to explore so we decided to head to Seton Lake as we'd heard there was a beach/campsite that was only accessible via FSR or paddling up the lake. I'd brought the Green Turtle, so naturally we choose to take the FSR. We drove West ...

Re: Scheduled Server Downtime
Well - my original time estimate for completing the server migration was by noon on Friday. However, I ran into some DNS-related troubles, and so site access is only starting to return to normal now (and its Saturday evening)! Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this downtime, and hopefully we're...

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Finally made myself a binnacle for my boost gauge and EGT. I have a CNC machine at work and used an aluminum composite panel. I glued it together today and dry fit the gauges. Gonna paint it matte black tomorrow. The plan is to mount it on top of the instrument cluster. I'll update again this week (...

L300 Tailgate
Hi all Anybody got an L300 tailgate they want to part with? I'm not holding out hope that I'll match the color, but here's a shot of my rig nonetheless. It's green with beige/champagne. Thanks in advance! -Mike http://i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p499/msimps/0fd0ad9f-2285-492e-9030-5df0b5930fc0_zpso...
