Lost1, I would love to hear how you did your WVO conversion. One day soon I would like to import a small diesel off-road toy, and of course power it with WVO.

I really want to do it on the cheap, it would make it sooooooooo much easier to justify another toy in the yard. :D

Delica Spotting - my first time

We saw four other Delica's on the West Coast of VI this weekend! I have never seen another Delica in person before, and seeing some different models and shades, it's like WOW these are cool rides. Well in the last 30 days I have been up to the Caribou and a week later drove the Delica to Edmonton a...

Hi Jeff, Powell Riverites always love their hometown, do you get up this way often? I have only lived here for 8 years, and our family loves it. We fish, camp, boat, wakeboard/water-ski, and generally love getting out into the backcountry or a nice beach somewhere. The Delica has opened up a few new...

Hey Delicanuck,

Did the shop make a template of your hitch, if you know about that I would be willing to have two made.

Thanks

You don't need a recall clearance letter for a 15 year old vehicle from Japan. I called to confirm this recently.

EGR Backing Plate - anybody done it?

Howdy, Has anyone else done the backing plate modification to there Delica here in Canada? Ebay EGR Backing Plates I did shortly after purchasing ours, and found that the black smoke at startup and well climbing hills was reduced. I haven't been able to determine how it works for the long term since...

Mod's and Links

Would it be too early to have a category for Delica Modifications? Many Toyota and Pajero mods can be carried over to the Delica's. There is ton of diesel and Toyota information available out there, and a place to post links would be great. For example the download sections of the English and Aussie...

And don't let them try and load your Delica upstairs on a BC ferry, they tell you your not over height but it's just way too close. That's the reason we don't have a antenna anymore.

Howdy again, Mark your old Delica measured 6'10" plus, but with new tires and the front torsion bar tighten brought it up to a true 7'. Having your front aligned and lifted by tightening the torsion bars is the best improvement I believe that can be done to all these 15 year old vans. Then they...

Hi Ryan, Lost1 on the Delica UK is out in Quebec and has been sort of happy with his Delica in Eastern Winters. I have heard some fantastic things about Wayne at Luxury Imports, the way he preps his vehicle is top notch, he also has answered some silly questions I've had via email. I have ordered th...

As a owner of a slightly modified Delica I have had no problems getting parts. Just do a search on one of the other Delica Forums for parts and you'll be amazed what you find. The last thing I ordered was brake pads, I just ordered Mitsubishi front brake pads for a 1990 and they are a perfect fit. D...

http://www.globalcar.com/showroom/gordonlee/gallery.htm My new one is the 4th over, upper row. Hidehiko of Samurai Garage came well recommended. Breadman (we need to get him to cross over to this forum, Eh) bought a Delica or two, friends on the Island bought a HiAce. My second Delica has just land...
