Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?

Put the winter fronts on and decided that I should put the bash plates
back on.. Took them off for an oil change a month ago or so. Had a nice dent
in both of them.. Dent's make things difficult.

Anyway it was a good time, Ton's of snow and cold

In the l400 you can drive in 4H all the time. That is AWD mode. Not in 4HLC since that turns in to true 4wd locked center diff.
In the L300 there is no AWD mode and thus can't use it full time unless slippery surfaces exist at all times.

I got new hd springs from the island. It's pretty much a 1-2" lift alone. Best thing I've done to my beast

V-Belt Issues

I had a squeak from my alt belt and it resisted a tightening. (Cont to squeak). Replaced the belt and it's good. Anyone tried belt goop. Not sure of exact name but you spray it onto the belts and mm ales them tacky. Used to use it on a variety of things.

Just a picture. NGK y-115t1 plugs. On the UK site a few guys measured and did the math and found these plugs were a match for the l400. You can go over to their webpage and do a search.

Silly winter.

Down to -16 c last night and the remote start didn't get it going. To be honest I was procrastinating... Been running 15/40 Dino oil and even had the 0/40 sitting in the shed. Got it done this afternoon. Took 10 minutes (not including the 20 minutes of warming my hands up). No more issues. Guess I c...

Insulation for hammocks : under quilts. Different layers for different temps. In the summer though you can just use a sleeping bag. They are awesome in heat waves. The air floating under the hammock keeps you cool. What type of hammock were you in? I make 11' ones and you lay on a diagonal. Almost f...
