Re: Detailing Mid island?
Found some pics of the job I did on the headliner of one of my delicas. Left has been cleaned, right was yet to be done http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b230/kbs13/White%20Delica/roofhalfdone.jpg Same sort of thing here http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b230/kbs13/White%20Delica/otherhalfbig.jpg Wo...

I agree on IP or even clogged injectors. Sounds like a fuel delivery problem may have murdered your old turbo and may be doing the same to the new one.
As long as the turbo has had fuel added if it is larger it'll be turning out lower egt's due to better flow.

Re: winter driving
L300's have a great feel to them. Like Falco said the weight is more central and as Rich noted there is a front bias to the weight. From my experience in 4WD, it feels like the axis is dead center and even when the rear steps out, the front is biting so it never feels like the back end is itching to...

Re: Polishing yellowed signal lights
also, if you're in the nanaimo area, I'm rather skilled with a rotary polisher. I'll do a light wetsand and polish for free for any delica owner who needs their headlights or tail lights polished as it's only a 5 minute job and they come out looking brand new.

Holy crap, just went and bought these, a tad small but they make my hips look smaller so that's a plus.
Helluva deal.

Re: Princess Auto 6" lights on the Bull Bar
The biggest Issue I see aside from them projecting light very poorly is that they may leak. I've seen these before and as soon as it's been damp for a while (which it usually is 9-11 months out of the year) they have water and or fog in the lense. Falco: Despite being totally turned off by vanity co...

Fun fact: Australia has had .05 as the legal limit for years, and they loves 'em some booze. If you're going to drink, just plan not to drive. Sure, it's a little nanny society , but all rules, bans and other legal limitations are based on the lowest common denominator... I'm also from the a generat...

Fabrication service
Hi guys and gals, Myself and a friend of mine are starting a fabrication business in Nanaimo building small aluminum boats and some one off furniture. If anybody needs any help or needs something made, I'd be happy to lend a hand as long as I've got the time.

Re: What has better mileage, the gasser or the diesel?
Diesel for the win. Diesel holds approx 10% more energy than gas paired with a more complete combustion (when tuned right); this equates to better fuel economy. Compared to the v6, it has a smaller displacement, but with a turbo (simulated displacement) on tap whenever you need it for extra oomph. I...

As far as I know it's a custom fabrication job. So I would say not worth the money unless you get it for cheap.[/quote]
That makes sense, I've never pulled it off before so I don't know how restrictive it is.

Re: Changing Front Seats
Given the limited space you'd be hard pressed to find a more comfy long haul seat (the beads seem like a cool idea. There are non-powered recaros out of some early VW's that may work since they are narrow, while the bases sit lower than most I've seen. But I'm not too sure if they'd improve comfort ...
