Hello my Canadian Friends!

Long time ago i had a small vibration when i accelerate or carry a heavier payload, around 1800RPM.

Few days ago i drowe across a deeper but even clean water (0,75m) and this vibration intensified with strange noise.
I just accelerate hardly cos the intensive vibration...

Luckily my repairman solved the problem rapidly.
And the reason of the fault: Universal-Joint Center Cross (Cardan- Joint)

It was a near thing:

Well, be carefull with these parts (You have 4 on a 4WD Delica),
if you have a free afternoon check these parts and grease them.
(the cross on the pics is not slushable)

Well, one can definitely tell where the wear was! Good thing you went through that second bit of water.

This incident is testament to a greasing routing, especially if you're crossing creeks and streams. Submerging parts into water really is different than just getting it wet from spray (like driving in the rain).

Maybe your cardan-shaft is not weighted correctly.
I have a weight (like on wheels) on my cardan...
So if this is damaged your shaft will shake the spiders/crosses always when its spinin..
