new batch of skidplates !!
Hey there folks !!
Well i will be picking up my new batch of skidplates in a few days and wanted to spread the word..
I have 4 people that will be taken care of first but i have plenty to go around. I am making 20. These are cleaner than the last batch. I have worked ouot the bugs and found a great
fab shop.
The cost will be a little more ........maybe $10 because the metal has cost me way more than the last metal that i bought a year ago.
I would like to say a HUGE HUGE HUGE Thanks to Delicat for all his help with the last batch !!!!!!!! Could not have done it without his help and pushing me to keep goingn on it !! THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!
This time though he is Way too busy with all his projects not to mention a new baby !!!
So From now on if you couold please just pm me and i will get back to you asap ....
I will post pictures of the new batch so you can see them ,as soon as i get them.
cheers isaac

Re: new batch of skidplates !!
Ok folks they are here !!
These ones came out perfect and i have a few left so let me know.
The cost is $170 with hardware . I know i said that it would only be 10 bucks more but then i picked them up and the price of aluminum had gone up 50% from the last batch that i bought almost a year ago !!!! i am not joking !! The positive thing is how good they turned out....
So i will be at the meet this friday and i will put them on for free in the parking lot of the micky d's !!!! If anybody wants one.
Also i have 3 skidplates that i am offering people who like to polish for a price of $125 with hardware !! These would just need to be cleaned up a bit to shine or leave as is !! It will still look great !!
Just thought i would put that out to the club people.....
cheers isaac

Re: new batch of skidplates !!
sign me up for that one
haven't been to a meet in a while but I plan to be at the friday one, now with cash in hand :)
I've found lots of mud and sticks and bad things in my radiator area and even had my AC fan wrecked with sticks so I will definitely put this skidplate to good use.
Thanks so much for all your work on this project.

Are there any skidplates left? I would like to pick one up if so...
You've never heard of the Delinnium Falcon? It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs...

Awesome. Let me know if you come up with one of the 5 speeds with the different bolt locations
Personally I prefer inexpensive and functional over elegant in case that makes a difference

Last Sunday I saw Pedro modifying his skidplate to fit on his 5spd... Ask him how it worked out.

Re: new batch of skidplates !!
For the manual Delica Transmission: I saw Pedro-Pierre just cut the bottom several inches off his skid plate off at the last fold (so the last several inches and the fold were gone) at our place. Then he attached it, I don't remember seeing him drill new holes, but he used longer bolts. Hopefully he will reply soon. I watched him do the modification & install, but I was more focused on the Timbits box in my hand.

Re: new batch of skidplates !!
I just want to say thanks to Isaac for supplying these plates - they look sweet!! Having him install them when you pick them up is an added bonus. While I was there I got a tour of his Veggie cleaning system and I'll be moving onto that after my lift gets installed.
Thanks Isaac!
Thanks Isaac!

Can you please set one aside for me, too?!?!? I've not seen them in person, but they look great, and more importantly will save me from a loooong walk home someday!! Thanks so much for your efforts! -Kevin
