Custom-Made Bug Screens

Post by ykphil »

Wife, myself and our team leader Speedo the Cat will be leaving for a road trip in the fall from Yellowknife to as far south as a road will take us, with our 1995 DeliCAT, so I have the whole summer to get ready. My to-do list is long but one important task is to fabricate/buy mosquito screens that would fit on all windows, including driver and passenger's. Neither a net tent type over our sleeping/living area nor magnetic window screens would work, as the screen must be able to (1) obviously, keep mosquitoes out (2) while keeping Speedo in at all times, while driving or camping (3) be cat-proof (4) be removable. Has anyone come across something that would work, custom-made or home-made?

Some people ask the impossible. Nothing is cat proof.
Good luck :-)

Based on my own experience with our cat, I'm afraid you might be right, but there must be someone out there who figured out how to outsmart these beasts :)
