Thanks they fit snug and ride on plastic wear strips with 6" of a 42" drwer left in you could sit on it.

I think this means you have attached the bedplatform to the bodywork, :wink: where did you attach it to ?

Was going to attach it with the bolts from the rear bench seat but it wasn't neccesary. The wieght of the box holds it in place and the bottom has a rough texture that grips the carpet. Also this way if you need the space to haul something big you can pull out the drawers and the box in two minutes.

artacoma,

you might be in a world of hurt if you hit the brakes too hard or somone hits you... that box could be in your lap.

I built the same sorta thing and bolted it into the 3 furthest back captains chairs bolt holes and then 2 bolts thru the floor in the back. 5 bolts.. slides right out.

Hey Mitch, show us some pictures of your shag-platform would ya? :twisted: i'm about to go look at arktacoma's set up in vic, he lives near by my house, i want to build something similar, would like to compare with yours if you don't mind.. Cheers!..Francois..Did we not meet once at Mt cain this winter?.. :P
